Senior Salesperson
STEAK is seeking a rockstar senior-level business
development professional to join our fast-growing team. This
role isn't just for someone who likes to sell - we want someone who
is passionate about the sales process. Our ideal candidate
lives to solve their clients' business challenges. They enjoy
crafting a detailed marketing strategy and relish the give and take
associated with negotiating a deal. They are someone who
believes that sales isn't simply their job, but their
passion. In short, we're looking for a Director or VP-level
selling machine.
The primary responsibility for the role will be to
understand, communicate and execute all things related to the sales
process. You'll be responsible for crafting STEAK's ideal
prospect profile and identifying targets that match it.
You'll manage the sales process from initial lead creation to
prospect development to closure. You'll serve as the
primary point of contact for all things sales-related; from
crafting the prospect acquisition strategy to on-boarding the
transition of newly-won clients to our world-class support
team.
We'd like you to be familiar with the best industry
practices of search marketing and display advertising. You'll
understand the core concepts behind the best practices of search,
know how to uncover and apply research and analytic data, and be
able to develop and present a cohesive prospect-facing pitch
strategy.

Skills
Core duties and
responsibilities:
- Control the sales process from prospecting to deal
closing.
- Identify and manage the appropriate client-side decision
makers from pre- to post-sale activity.
- Serve as primary contact for all new business
engagements.
- Craft client solutions based upon business evaluation and
present client-focused sales presentations.
- Develop and lead an internal and external sales
organization.
- Match agency capabilities to client needs, maximizing
client success alongside agency profitability.
- Identify high potential investment accounts and develop
custom prospecting strategies.
- Build deal pipelines and manage enterprise level revenue
metrics.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience in the digital marketing agency space, mainly
in the selling of search marketing solutions.
- B.S or B.A. degree required; MBA a strong
plus.
- 7-10+ years applicable work experience.
- Ability to execute individual sales contributions with
eventual team leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in developing client-facing sales strategies,
including use of research-driven selling techniques.
- Proven experience in crafting and executing targeted
prospecting plans.
- Demonstrated ability to meet assigned metrics, especially
sales quotas.
- Ability to craft, lead and motivate an eventual inside
and outside sales team.
- Must be able to quickly counter objections with
fact-based analysis and strategic thinking.
- A strong personal network of marketing
contacts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and
PowerPoint.
- A wild hunger to make significant money for themselves
and their teammates.
- Excellent communication skills: written and
verbal.
